Introduction #
Although CentrixOne CRM offers many basic fields, you will likely need to create custom fields to meet your specific needs, such as adding a customer number to a contact. You can create up to 70 fields at the contact level and 70 more fields at the account level.
However, suppose your CentrixOne account is synced with the Acomba or Acomba X accounting software. In that case, you are limited to 65 custom fields in an account card, as 5 of them are used by the synchronization API.
Changes made to custom fields in a contact card apply to all contact cards and vice-versa for an account card.
Note that only an administrator can create, modify, or delete a custom field. To grant administrator rights to a user, please refer to this guide.
How to create a custom field (profiling)? #
- Click on the Contacts or Accounts module
- Click on a random name (it doesn’t matter)
- In the Contact summary or Account summary, click on the Profiling tab
- In the top right-hand corner of the same interface, click on the three small dots
- In the drop-down menu, click on Add a field
- Name your field in French and in English
- Choose your field type
- Click on Save
